HARRAH'S CHESTER CLAIMING PROCEDURES

Who May Claim: A current member or associate member of the United States Trotting Association or a current licensee of this or another jurisdiction may claim any horse in a claiming race if the member, associate member or licensee has on credit, with the association conducting the race, an amount equal to the specified claiming price. A person may file only one claim in one race.

What Is Required: Only Cashier Checks or Money Orders will be accepted as funds for a claim, if the claimant does not have money already on his account at Harrah's Chester. Also required will be the requisite fees for transfer of title. Transfer fee is $33, which should be a personal check only made out to U.S.T.A.

Where To Make Claims: All claims are made with the Horseman's Bookkeeper located in the Race Offices of the Paddock Building.

When To Make Claims: Claims shall be in writing on forms and in envelopes provided by the association, sealed and deposited in the claim box at least 15 minutes before the time originally scheduled for the race to begin. MONEY MUST BE PLACED ON ACCOUNT FOR CLAIMS BY 4:00 P.M. THE DAY OF THE CLAIM. ANY MONEY THAT IS NOT PLACED ON ACCOUNT BY 4:00 P.M. CAN NOT BE USED FOR CLAIMING PURPOSES THE DAY OF THE CLAIM .
